Question Brake fluid test due

Hello

In my service book it says my brake fluid test is due on 8th March, but my computer says it's due in 25 days? Which one do I go by?

Thanks

Inga

Go by the computer. The March date will be a guess whereas the computer adjusts the date according to driving style etc

Never heard that one KP! Its true for the mileage between services but for brake fluid its a day count down from when the computer was set. More than likely it was set at factory as its purely a timer so will be the difference between build date and when the dealer filled in the documents.

And its a brake fluid change as its only recommend to be used for 2 years before a change.

Yep, for both brake fluid and services. Good old TLC
