Good independent Mini garage in London?

Hi guys,

Im fed up with being charged through the roof by BMW for small things. Im out of TLC now and need a good independent mini mechanic/garage in east london or essex area.

Was going to take it in to bmw as the sat nav shows me in the middle of teh atlantic and they wanted 70£ even before they'd take a look.

I used to live in battersea, and I found some reliable mechanics, but I guess that is way off.

Recently moved to east London, and found some local residents recommending this place.

I haven't been there myself, so I couldn't comment on it. But based on some comments on our local forum, it seems to be alrite. Not mini specific, but they work on BMW, which isn't miles off...

Based on the above reviews I took my car over to Shiva for a service last week and I have to say I agree with the comments above. Friendly service ( from Bob) and a quick good job done at a very reasonable price. At least half of what BMW would charge ! As I was leaving they told me that they are starting someone who will be working from 5pm - 10pm in the evening so that people can drop their car off after work and either pick it up by 10pm or from 8am the next morning. Now that is service !!
