Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has ever had problems with their ignition?

I have a "51" Mini Cooper and sometimes when I try to start the car the tripometer resets and the the car will not start...It doesn't even tick over!!! (which leads me to believe that it cannot be the starter motor)

Any ideas on what it could be and how I can fix it?

Sounds like an earth lead problem on the engine,check its tight

Checked the earth wire and it is tight. any other ideas??

Went to BMW garage and they want £145 just to get it on the ramp!!!!!
