Offline | Sounds like a tractor Hi all, Does anyone else have a R56 MCS that sounds like a tractor when you first start it up in the morning? Done all the oil checks etc and I can't get it to replicate the problem when I take it to the dealer. Should I be worried? (it's done it virtually from new ( Dec 06)) Any advice gratefully received S8RAH |

Offline | Thanks Miniac, New to forum thingies, should have searched first. No way mine ever sounds that bad but is is irritating that I traded one MCS for another but the neighbours think I've downgraded to a diesel! ( sorry diesel owners )Will take in anyway. On subject of faults, my first Cooper Sept 2001, went back to dealer for various faults and recalls 17 times in 30 months. The dealer was useless and I eventually complained to MINI UK who put a rocket under them. First MCS March 2004, perfect car but not half as much fun as the R56, I'm lovin' it ![]() |
