Cleaning in between the Badge

Was wondering if anyone could tell me an effective way of cleaning the badge on the back of the car. My Cooper S badge is really dirty in between the lettering, I have tried to clean it before but it seems to not want to come clean. Its also really difficult to get around the edges of the MINI badges clean. Has anyone got any advice they coulkd share with me?

Many Thanks

Mike

I had trouble cleaning around the ONE badge on my old MINI, and used to get polish marks inbetween the letters, so I had the next one de-badged

I polished my car using Turtle Wax Ice at the weekend, that cleaned up around the MINI badges nicely, and doesnt leave any white marks either

have you tried the cotton bud approach? Personally I just persevere with a rag

try wooden cuticle sticks covered in a bit of cleaning cloth, make sure it doesnt go thru the cloth. The rag also works with a fingernail behind it. thats ok for the winged badge but te stick is good for getting in between the letters.

Thanks for the advice guys. I had a look in Halfords, and they seem to do a pack of Meguirs detailing stick things, which look a bit like cotton buds. But they cost a tenner so I think I will give the actual cotton bud a go first!
