| Not a happy bunny. | ok, autoglym super resin and ultra deep shine. also happens with Zymol. too much, i'm using about roughly a blob slightly larger than a pea to do the whole bonnet with one of the meg polishing sponges. then i've tried all sorts of microfibre cloths to remove it each time i do it, yet i end up with dust everywhere. i've also left it on for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15, 30 etc etc, always happens... i polish every time i wash the car - which is anything between 1 and 2 weeks. i make sure i wash and polish on an overcast day and not in direct sunlight. |

Offline | I polished mine last weekend. Used Turtle Wax ICE. Left the car super shiny and smooth, can be done in sunlight with no smears, can be used on the wheel arches too, and best of all, no white marks, or dust ![]() I do normally use Autogylm Ultra Deep Shine though, but never really any dust? ![]() |

Online | I use Autoglym Super Resin too, and just polished my car today. The polish dust is a nuisance! It gets into the gaps between the metal and the plastic wheel arches. The last time I polished the car was two weeks ago. I think I am perhaps using too much polish as there is generally a lot of dust to get rid of! Any tips for removing spots of autoglym polish that accidentally gets on the black plastic wheel arches? ![]() |

Offline | I usually go over the car with a dusting mop to pick off any bits of polish and bits of fluff and such. Or any kind of fluffy duster type thing that will lift off leftovers rather than rub them around. As for the black bits I my neighbor who,s a valleter recommended using bumper care first on the black but not buffing it off so that it catches any excess polish wich can then be wiped off. I dont do it that way but can see the logic. |

| Not a happy bunny. | use the Autoglym Bumper Care product. Works fine for me to get rid of polish on plastic trim. That or Peanut Butter. i've taken to masking tape before polishing now. i find that the polish gets into the stone chips, i have loads of white spots on my bonnet might switch to the Meg's stuff and see if that makes any difference. |

| ProNet:3 Gaming Community | I use AG SRP and NEVER get any dust! you DO NOT need to polish your car so often! you can be doing more harm than good! see THIS THREAD for the way I do things and results. polish with AG SRP then followed by AG EGP. then just wax it once a month. that will keep paint in tip top!! ![]() |

| ProNet:3 Gaming Community | Wax-wise..... I like P21S. it looks stunning on blues/Dark colours.. and its a good price. as does poorboys nattys paste wax (blue) and that SMELLS GORGEOUS!! ive just done the AG SRP and AG EGP the wax is going on tomo, Ill get some pics up soon as its done and you will see for yourself. I never use machines (only cos I havent got any) so try and fine good stuff to use by hand. Yes there ARE better products out there! for that I have NO doubt. but I try to find products that work well and are easy on the pocket. ![]() |
