Offline | Which products? Hey people just about to plunge myself into buying some different cleaning products for my car. Was looking at The Ultimate Finish Online Shop for Car, Boat and Bike Enthusiasts. Thinkng about the claybar from meguires, the £19.99 wax at the bottom of the swiss wax page P21S(i cant afford the 1k one ). Also some meguires tyre blackner? Have read some of the forums about cleaning but was wondering which were the easier waxes/claybars to use?ps i have an astro black mini if that makes any difference lol. Cheers folks Adam |

| Dog Tired | Nope, you have it right. A good wash to get the debris off. Then move onto the clay bar making sure that you are using some kind of lubricant like a detailer spray or lightly soapy water. You will use very little and it is mainly to keep the clay from becoming too sticky. After that, a coat or two of was to finish her off. Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | I'd highly recommend Clean Your Car - car care products UK. The prices are really good and delivery is super quick. Also for a good long lasting wax Collinite 476S Super Double Coat Wax seems to get very good reviews. I've ordered some for myself that I'll hopefully get to try out at the weekend. |

Offline | A top tip for using a claybar is to split it into several pieces, so that whilst you are using one you can keep another in a mug of warm water - this ensures that it remains nice and malleable. This is especially important when winter's just around the corner... ... It also doubles as a way of warming up your hands ! |
