Germany I have an Electric Window Problem

Hi folks, I have just bought a 2003 Cooper s. Have had the car 2 weeks and have already needed to replace a leaking expansion tank. I now have what appears to be a sticking window. Hear all the clicks from the relays etc but window will not budge. I was going to attempt to take the inner door trim off etc. Can anyone tell me how easy this is! Is it just the three screws? What about the door opening handle does this also need removing? If I need a new motor, anyone know where I can get hold of them and how much they cost? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rich

I have similar with my 02 Cooper. Open the car door and push up on the window switch, holding it longer than normal. It may take a few times or may not work until using the car another time but had got me out of trouble.

Same with me had this problem for 3 weeks now, one or two smacks now working. I didnt realise by buying a modern car within 2 weeks of owning it I would be smacking the door to make things work. I should have stuck with my classic never had one problem in 3 years of owning it, let alone having to smack and kick it to get it working
