Boot / Bonnet light on dash

Morning guys

Been viewing the forums for a while now but have only just registered as I have only just had my first problem with my Mini! Its a 2004 John Cooper Works S and this morning the the boot/bonnet light on the dash wont go out! Nothing major but its just one of them things that bugs you! I have tried "firmly" shutting, both the boot and the bonnet to no avail.............anybody else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

Cheers in adavance

Stu

Hi Stu,
Could be a couple of things, if your interior light is on at the same time as the warming light on the dash it could be the bonnet switch or if it is only the warning light on the dash it could be the boot catch ,
the boot catch is £22.50 or the bonnet switch is £6.50
Cheers
Chris
