United-Kingdom "Turbonator"

After reading a few different articles on induction kits and the such like, ive determined that the fuel and air mix is prity important, many of the articles mention a vortex or swirl being created to make a better mix. Ive read about something called the "turbonator" that sits in the air box hose and causes this vortex due to its structure, its relativley cheap and claims to increase bhp and mpg... bold claims! anybody had any expierence with this bit of kit or do you think i should stear well clear?!
