Hi - looking for some information or advice.
Had our 03 mini one at a local garage for an oil service today after the oil service millage went down to -25. Garage did the oil change but when it came to resetting the message on the spedo the code they had didn't seem to work.

They said they would try get the correct code but I thought I'd try on here too as the sites been very helpful in the past.

So is there a way of resetting the message so that the next service one is displayed or am I going to have to find the time to take the car to the nearest mini dealer (Quite a distance away) and get them to do it?

Disconnect your battery leave it for ten minutes or so re-connect job done
