Angry I Need Advise Asap

hi everyone,

I need some advise on a number of problems going wrong with my mini cooper s.

1) When I go fast i.e. 70 mph + i get a whistling noise through my air vent on the passenger side and so far the only way i have seen to stop it is through switching on the button that circulates the air in the car but then after a while it then starts steaming up inside as you can imagine. Any feedback on how to stop this would be much appreciated??

2) My passenger electric window just decided to stop working, it sounds like its the system. Now I dont want to take it into Mini and pay £300000 when It might be a quick fix?

3) Does anyone know where you can buy those interior door reflectors from??

All these little issues are starting to annoy the hell out of me now so any advise is welcome.

Thanks,

Chris

Easiest fix in the world...

Stop breaking the speed limit.

Item number 1 will prob be a loose plastic gromit behind the dash somewhere... I had the exact same problem... I took it to my dealer and got it sorted under warranty... Apparently it is a very common fault... Hope this helps...

To fix the stuck electric window you could try the 'smack the door card above the speaker really hard a couple of times' trick. A Mini 2 fix that worked on my Mini (the motor may have a flat spot).

The interior door reflectors are available from BMW, around £5 a pair I think. Orange reflector on Cooper/One, White on Cooper S.
