Hi all.

Just a quick question really... I own a 2006 ONE D (the 88bhp version).

The car has obviously had its first service and then more recently the Inspection 1 service in the summer (oil change etc). I have noticed that the computer is now telling me that it requires another service in 6175 miles time, which I presume would be the inspection 2 service?

My query is that this seems a little early? The car has done 16500 miles, meaning that it will have roughly 22695 miles on the clock by the time Inspection 2 is due? I'm not really botherd as the car has the TLC pack so it's all FOC, but I'm just wandering if this is about normal?

Also it's struggling to average much over 42 / 43 mpg, which for a diesel is a little concerning!!!! (I am aware though that having 17" wheels affects the consumption by about 5mpg

)

The 2nd service is normally at about 25k so that sounds about right (the countdown dropping will depend on how the car is driven)

The first Oil Change is due around 10k miles, the first Inspection 1 at around 25k miles and the 2nd Oil Change at around 40k miles.

The first Inspection 2 isn't due until around 55k miles!

What have you actually had done R99, as your post doesn't make much sense?

A 2006 MINI with 16,500 miles should only have had a first Oil Service, with the first Inspection 1 due in around 8,500 miles...

17s does effect fuel consumption but by that much.

Hi all. Thanks for the replies and sorry for the confusion!! I've just been out to the car to check the service book (in the rain!)....

It has stamps for the PDC at Synter in the City and another for 1st Oil change in June 07 (around 10k miles) by my local dealer. This was the service I had presumed was the Inspection 1 service.

So its actually the Inspection 1 service thats due in 6k miles then.
