Scratched wheel arch

I scratched the rear passenger side wheel arch on a drain pipe last night and it is now poorly. Anyone know how much this is likely to cost me to fix. And how simple it may be. Could I buy the part and fit it myself ? As no doubt they will charge a ridiculous amount for fitment of the part which probably involves uncliping the old bit and applying the new bit ? Answers on a postcard please ?

If it's just the plastic bit it should be cheap and easy to do at home

Phone your friendly local MINI parts man for the price of the bit. I'd be shocked if it were more than a tenner.

My dealer has quoted me £23 all in for doing it which is a relief - thought it may be something like £150. So I'm happy enough to let them do it next monday :-)

Out of interest when you say local MINI parts man - do other people have access to these bits other the the main dealers and if so - how do I find out who these people are ?
