Hi there, we have a little mini cooper s on a 2003 plate. We have no reverse light

Have tried replacing the bulb but with no success. On reading the threads i have decided to try changing the reverse switch. Now got my switch but i cant locate it near the gear box. I have had the airfilter and bits out today but with no success. Didnt no if any body had a diagram of where it is? Any help would be really appreciated. jonny

I had to do this but for the life of me I cannot remember how. I followed the Haynes manual for it.

If noone replies by the time I get home I will scan the pages in and attach them for you to look at.

Simple...Just remove the passenger side wheel & you can see it.
I did mine in about 10 mins.

I did it quite a few months back. I remember reading and seeing pictures in one of the forum..! Can't seems to find it here now.
But I can roughly tell us what we did.

1) We jack up the car

2) Remove the Wheel :
- Left hand drive cars -> Remove driver's side wheel.
- Right hand drive cars -> Remove the front passenger side wheel.

3) It's visible when u look into the inside.

You can try taking it out and give it a good wash and spray plenty of WD40 on it. It should work after that. =)
