Well, got the oil service done, and its only the 2nd say, but I think I can notice alot more difference. I filled up yesterday, and my clock said 398 miles (normally it dont say that, wonder why?) and I have drove about 25 miles so far, and its still around 380. Hopefully this oil service could have solved my problems maybe?

Also they forgot to stamp or take my voucher from my TLC book? could I use this again next time? even though it says to be used on or around 40k?

If I were you, I'd use the voucher and get the stamp in your book.

We went to look at a Mini a while back and were put off totally by the fact that what he said had been done (and in fairness the receipts he had shouwed HAD been done) didn't tally with the service history.

You may save yourself a few quid now, but you could lose yourself one (or more) sales in the future.

Hi Mull3t

May I enquire where you had this 'silly service', bearing in mind we are in the same county?

Richard

Unless you plan to keep the car until it falls apart...

It was Sytner Leicester, up at Meridian Business Park.

I remember what it was, my car was in for some warranty work, but they notticed my Tyres were low, so they topped it up but charged me £12 something for the Air & £23 for the Labour.

They also refused to give me my car until I had paid this 'Out of warranty' work. I paid, just to get my car back, but then later wrote to BMW, and spoke to Sytner Leicester manager, and manage to get it refunded.

I did post about it on here about 1 year ago.

That's a bit insidious - if they'd done that to me, I would have been screaming at the top of my lungs for the dealer principal. If he took the same line, I would have called the police and reported that my car had been 'stolen' by the dealership.
