I'm unsure if my cooper needs servicing or not? If so, which service and what does this involve?Any advice appreciated.
Service history as follows:
10110 Oil Sevice, Micro Filter
19000 Oil Service, Inspection II, Micro Filter
31230 Oil Service, Inspection II, Micro Filter
Car is now reading 41000 and the 'coundown' has another 4000 miles left.
I read a post yesterday and after the first 10000 the service intervals were stated as every 15000 miles? Mine has been serviced every 10000, is this correct?
I'm asking the question as my friends hubby is due to service the car for me (as I thought it was due every 10000) and now I don't know which service (if any) it's due?
I'm thinking of taking out an extended warranty which states servicing must be completed at recommended manufacture intervals and don't want to get it wrong?
I don't mind having it serviced now but just want to make sure it gets the right one ( Inspection I or II)
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

25K - Inspection 1 Service
40K - Oil Service
55K - Inspection 2 Service
70K - Oil Service

Repeat 2 through 5 at 15K intervals

NOTE:
Inspection 1 & 2 Service include Oil Service

Micro Filter is changed at each service

From Build Date ...

Every 2 years - Brake Fluid Change
Every 4 years - Coolant Flush

Thanks for your post - had the car serviced yesterday (oil service with coolant flush&brake fluid) so haven't got to worry about it for another 15000

Is actually ticking over better/quieter and running a tad better
