White Cooper Yellow gunk

Hi all
Has anybody got any ideas what the yellow gunk is that is seeping out of the drainage holes on the front and rear doors on my clubman.

Um... do you have a picture of the seeping yellow gunk?

Just as a guess, if your Clubman is still very new could it be wax from the factory that wasn't properly washed off by the dealership?

All the best,
Andrew.

it is most likely body sealant wax, ours has been doing the same thing since delivery,in fact it was all over the insides of the doors and running down,at least i won't have to worry about rust

This happened to me with my '06 - mellowyellowman is correct. The dealership took it in and cleaned it out saying that it should have been removed at the Vehicle Distribution Center.

Although this is an old thread, I figured I'd throw in on it...it came up when I was searching for something else.
