mate if you need BMW to fit the arches for you then you probably need a chauffeur to drive the car or you too.

Piece of **** to fit, pull off pop on.

Sorry but they are not always that easy to fit (tho they are easy).

If any of the clips break (which some will) when removing the trim the only real option is to remove the wheel arch liner and cut them off from behind with a pair of wire snips (the clips on the exterior trim are not designed to be re-used).

In itself doing that is a 10 minute job and cheap at around £10 a pop - seems the trim is what those who can't drive tend to scuff on your car, much easier than having to deal with a body shop.

To keep the trim in good condition AG Bumper Care is the best option, easy to apply, just the right sheen, very durable and I've still got my original bottle after 3 years of Mini ownership.

AG Bumper Care works well as does Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel.
I've heard good things about Black Wow but at £19 for 120ml it is expensive, a little goes a long way however the same can be said about the other two I have mentioned.

It's actually one of the few things I've been so amazed with on QVC (or one of those shopping channels) that I bought it. I use Proshine Tyre Trim and Shine. I'm not sure where you can buy it on it's own but you usually buy it in a pack with other ProShine products which now I'm on the subject Proshine Spray and Clean is simply amazing stuff. Spray on to a dirty car - use a microfibre cloth to wipe it off then polish with another microfibre cloth - it's one of those thing that you've actually got to use to it to believe it - it doesn't scratch your car and you don't need to use any water. Sorry, slightly off-subject there! Try this link: Search results for proshine in Car Parts & Accessories
