How many quart of oil needed?

How many quarts (or lt.) of oil is needed for an oil change? I'm planning to change the oil and need to know many quarts to buy.

Thanks!

PS - This is not to start another thread about the benefits or waste of an early oil change. Please don't start that again for we have enough threads about that already.

This is how much I already know:
* Use Castrol Syntec 5W-30 or Mobil 1 5W-30.
* New oil filter PN 11-42-7-512-446

It's at 4.7 or 4.8 Qts. US. You end up with a useless bit in a quart. During break in mine went down a bit between 600 miles (first oil change) and 1600 miles (second change). So keep the wee bit. You might need it. Just makes sure the cap on the quart is on tight.

Thanks obehave... I will keep that in mind.
