Tyre Shine

What do you guys use to get your tyres shiny and black? Ive used sprays before but they make the brake dust cling to my alloys.

Thanks In Advance

I use the Meguirs hot wheels i think it is called, it is the clear liquid tyre shine anyway. Apply it with a paint brush and then leave for ten mins, wipe excess off and it never goes over the rest of the car or the wheels.

Excellent stuff!

The purple megs stuff is good as well but for the added cost I dont see any benefit. it last the same as the clear stuff if not a bit less :S

I use Chemical Guys New Look Trim gel, apply with a sponge applicator for a nice glossy finish. And being a gel one bottle lasts for ages.

Since I got a free sample of Adams VRT (vinyl rubber & tire) dressing I've been using that as well, would recommend both

I use the same stuff many dealers use, My mum works for a place that sells cleaning materials to trade so I got about 6 litres of the stuff for £11! Its not the best but for that price i can afford to splash it about. I used to use an aerosol spray tyre shine from a pound shop and that was fine for the price too. You don't have to spend a fortune
