tlc help!

A friend of mine is looking at getting a Cooper S. Its only done about 20 odd thousand miles and he has been told that there is a remaining TLC voucher for it!
He looked for it but was no where to be seen. When he asked he was told that the voucher wasnt to hand but it is registered to the cars registration that it is under TLC and it wouldnt be a problem!!

Is this correct? I thought you would need a voucher or would MINI/main dealer be aware from there system if it had a voucher for serving or not?

If you could help, that would be great.

The MINI system is computerised and all MINI dealers have access to the info. Get your mate to phone his local dealer with the reg and VIN number. They should be able to tell him excalty what the car has had done, and what TLC remains.

***Obviously they can only tell you about work carried out by MINI main dealers.
