Mini Maintenance Check

Hi guys, wonder if anybody else received a note through the post saying "it's time to come in for your Mini Maintenance Check"?

Nothing on the note said there was a cost involved, so I'm assuming this is free (part of the TLC package by any chance?).

Also, it couldn't have come at a better time...on my way home from work, I noticed the temperature gauge going way over the half way mark when I pulled up at the lights. Oil was absolutely fine, but water was a little lower that expected (although still above the minimum). Has anybody else had a similar problem? Hoping it's covered under warranty?!

Could be the thermostat - I've had one under warranty...
