Which is the best trim restorer ? My mini has the oe mudflaps which are showing signs of fading on the plastic (I am very disappointed !) I tried a specialist plastic restorer product but after a few days the fading re-appears. Black wow(who in the UK supplies this?) is a product I have heard a lot about on various forums. Is this the best product to buy? as I don't want to waste time and money on other stuff that does not do the job (my back to black spraying days are long gone!) All advice appreciated, Ag.

I would give the mudflaps a clean with some all purpose cleaner, then apply a trim product. AG Bumper Care is good although I prefer Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel. Elite Car Care sell Black Wow it's not cheap, £18.95 for a small bottle.

Another vote here for Autoglym Bumper Care. Used it on every car ive had now, find its best applied with small sponge, then allow it to dry and then go over it with a cotton cloth to remove any resiude, keep topped up every month Factory JCW

In the past, I used Autoglym bumper care on the trim around the roof (guttering), but now it has turned a sort of light grey/white colour! As this particular trim has a rougher texture than the wheel arch trim, what do you guys use to keep it looking like new? Autoglym bumper care is good on the rest of the black plastic trim (wheel arches etc), but it gets streaked in the rain. For this reason, I use turtlewax back in a flash - I think this won an Autoexpress product award for the best trim cleaner...

Another vote for Black Wow, expencive to start with but lasts ages, it's not wet 'n' black, google it to find a supplier, made by a guy in the states for MINI Exterior trim
