Spray down drivers side window

What a bad time of year to buy a new car
I can't remember what colour Neddy is meant to be!

Can I ask whether my washer jets need redirecting? Each time I'm on the motorway in the MINI and going through the screenwash quickly then if I've had to use it a lot (which is often at the moment) then I'm getting a real bad streak down my driver window.

The spray from the screenwash starts at the top of the A pillar and streaks down - at the weekend driving back from Brum I was ending up having to open the window at junctions as it'd blocked my visibility up too much.

Just wondered if there was anything I could do or this was a known issue. New wiper blades recently and have used various different screenwashes and strengths, but the problem continues.

Roll on the summer.

Thats normal I'm afraid when you have this kind of weather, the water and dirt has to go somewhere

I am thinking about changing washer jets to the peugeot/ citroen washer mist type jets.

Has anyone done this before?

I find that operating the windscreen washers when I am stationary or travelling at a slow speed minimises the amount of water that gets onto the side windows. Redirecting the jets has helped quite a bit though.

Jimuth - I Rain-X my side windows as well as the windscreen, and I find this helps - a lot of the dirty water runs off the side windows, especially when you are passing trucks etc that throw up a lot of spray....

Thanks all

I've done the opposite - raised them a little and centred a bit more and it's a lot better now. Also keep some autoglym fast glass underneath the seat!

i am thinking along same lines, too much fluid being used,
so apart from new jets would clamping the line a little be a fix?
or would pack pressure upset motor? or is it impeller type?
