| New owner questions I acquired a 2007 "S" with 16,000 miles. One of the ride flats blew up and, as you know, there is no spare. The other front tire was shot as well, so I had to put on two new tires. I did not want ride flats, but, by California State Law, the dealer could not sell me non ride flats without a spare, and I had no wheel to put a spare tire on, so I was stuck with ride flats. I wondered if anyone has a solution to this problem. Also, upon rapid acceleration I have to hold the steering wheel tight and compensate for what feels like uneven acceleration of the wheels and consequent feeling of instability. Also, at speeds over 70MPH a howling noise is produced. In addition, does anyone have a recommendation for a bicycle rack? My old universal rear rack can't be used because the spoiler is in the way. Lastly, since the new ride flats have been installed, the warning light for the tires has stayed on. I Emailed the official site regarding the light and followed their instructions, but the light steadfastly refuses to go out. I even bought a pressure guage and checked all four of the tires and that does not appear to be the problem. I would appreciate any input. Thanks, Nelson. |
