| my mini service
ok i need help about servicing my mini. ive looked at other posts but still need help so here it goes.
firstly mines a mini one 54 plate currently done 78k miles. it had the first 3 services at mini dealerships including 2 oil changes and inspection one. however the 4th service was done at a ford/mazda garage and the stamp isnt in the service book but i have the receipt in which was done below on 22/05/08
new plugs, oil filter, oil change, air filter, bulb, wheel hub bearings, front discs, brake pads, brake pad wear sensor, brake cleaner.
so is all this the inspection 2 service?
a sticker in my window says next service 84 k miles or 20/5/09 which ever is soonest so im guessing the mini is due for a service soon. (the clock says oil service in 6k miles however under the hood the oil is on the min and the engine coolant is on the min.
Also does it need to go to a bmw or mini specialist (for the computing settings/readinds or can i take it to a local small garage)?
pleas answer my many questions above or just give me useful info on any of the topics as i havnt a clue on what needs doing to my mini or where to take it at what time. many thanks simon  |
