Rattle coming from the exhaust area

Hmmm, today is not my day.
I noticed a slight rattle coming from the exhaust area of the car when driving today. When I got home and looked under the rear of the car I could see that on the left hand side underneath the exhaust the thing holding it into place seems to have rusted away and is loose. However, the same thing on the right hand side is fine.

Has anyone any idea what I need to ask for at the garage as I don't want to be ripped off for anything that I don't need. The exhaust itself seems fine.

Car is Cooper S - 2003 plate.

I have a 03 MCS-60K, from memory when I had an upgrade exhaust fitted there were 3 brackets holding the old system 2 of which had snapped they found when removing which like yours was otherwise fine. Hope that helps.

Cool thanks for that, let's hope they can just replace the bracket then without a whole new exhaust.
