Smile Help with servce

hello just wondering what peoples thoughts was on the best performance oil and plugs was? as im in need of a servce ,dont mind the cost as long as there the best for my car. and hopfully gain a bit of power in the process

Its a 02 mini cooper (not S) and has done 34000 and has a pippercross induction kit if that makes any diffrence off a cooper s if that makes any diffrance hope you can help me out ..........................Dan

Dan,

not really any increase in performance to be gained from plugs and oil, just smooth running and longer lasting engine !!

I would advise to stick with the manufacture spec re oil and plugs on your cooper.

re performance I would advise that you just keep your cooper well serviced and save up for an S !!

my reason for that is I think you could end up spending a lot of money on your cooper for relatively little gains in performance.

again Dan, my opinion only and I also have a cooper, but hopefully you will get some other posts giving a different view.

Iain is right, save your money as you won't get anything out of different plugs and oil.
