Rattle from seatbelt adjuster

I've been getting a louder and more frequent rattle/vibration from the seatbelt height adjuster.

Anyone know what causes it and whether it can be cured?

i had the same problem and i took it in to bmw and did a 'diverse rattle and squeek' fix cost about 30 quid. sorted it out, esp that spring noise from the seat belt adjuster.

£30 to fix a rattle in one area!? You wouldn't happen to know what they did would you? I've tried various fixes on mine but to no avail. They put felt tape on bits from factory but I think its the seporate piece which moves up and down that is the cause.

The windscreen pillar bits? Yeh I'm getting cracks coming from them alot when going over bumps in the road. You can easily pop the plastic pieces off and pad it out. I find putting self-adhesive bandage on the clips does a good job as it stops the metal clips moving about.
