Normal Running Temperature
I am trying to find out the normal running temperature of a Mini Cooper s 2005.My wife is away on a trip and just called to say the temp. gauge is reading 200. I feel that is to high. Any help.

I have a Scangauge in my 2002 MCS and it runs around 195F when cruising at highway speed.

The radiator fan will kick in when temperature exceeds 220F.

Thanks I wasn't sure when the fan would kick in or at what temperature engine damage will happen.
