 Service question Hi, I've just recently bought an 04 Cooper, which has been (according to the dealer) just been serviced. The service indicator reads 15k til next service (inspection 1) and 588 days til brake fluid service. With my previous car (and old Nissan) I used to get a service done every year with the MOT but I am guessing that I should wait til the car tells me that it needs servicing before servicing? Is it worth getting it done at an Independant BMW/Mini garage or just any old local garage? Just keen to make sure that I look after her and keep her driving sweet!   |

| Mini servicing is 2 years OR as the service counter, whichever comes sooner. If you aren't going to take it to a dealer, get a specialist to do it. They're bound to have more knowledge than a 'we'll do any old make'. However, dealers don't tend to be ridiculously expensive now...
