Average Necessary Maintenance / Replacement Costs

Helloo... have ppl been tracking all their maintenance costs over the years? what would u say is your average yearly cost (lets exclude financing costs and things like tuning etc)... I'd like to see what people have had to pay on average for keeping their Mini in top shape, but not optional items like upgraded manifolds etc... my mini cooper S 2002 with around 120,000km on the clock has cost me on average US$200 per month ($2400 per year) over the last 7.5 years i've had it on things like runflat replacements, dropping windows, replacing the battery, oil, filter, sparks, external passenger mirror replacements (when the folding mechanism stops functioning, fuel injector cleaning, broken pulleys etc etc

Sounds like an expensive hobby!

Wow! Have you had it since new?
That seems like alot of money over 8 years!
Oil and filter, other filters, plugs, tires, brake pads, and cosmetic upkeep items are all I've had to spend money on.
Oh yeah, 2 headlight bulbs and a side marker bulb, too.
I just replaced the fuel filter (around $50 and 2 or 3 hours with mistakes).
Other than that, it's been a cheap car since I bought it 10/02.
