DIY Request for maintenance info. - Coming up to 100k

My 2002 Mini one R50 is coming up to 100,000 miles.

Over the years I've changed the tyres, number plates, failed bulbs, air/oil/cabin filters, oil, brake fluid, pads, discs, 2 clutches, a gear box, a radiator and the passenger seat wiring for the air bag fault.

This means that I am using the original spark plugs and the original exhaust.

The alternator sounds squeaky and is probably on its last legs.
What else do I need to change? Just the spark plugs?
Any recommended upgrade for the plugs?
Is there a need to replace chains or belts or anything like that?

Thanks

Spark plugs, engine coolant and the serpentine drive-belt.

I've got a 2003 MINI One same colour as yours with 86,000 miles.

I'm going to change the gearbox oil and lubricate the gear linkages this month.

Are you on the original steering pump, if so you have done very well and it would be a good idea to at least remove it and clean out the carbon dust inside the motor or maybe to replace with a recon unit as a precaution against future failure at an inconvienent time.

Also change the gearbox oil and clean the magnetic drain plug to extend gearbox bearing life.

Both easy jobs and not that expensive if you DIY or avoid the BMW main dealer type garages.

Thanks for the replies.
Yes it is the original steering pump. It has done most of its miles in a straight line
