Stickers / Decals - do they damage the spray?

Hi guys

I've got an r56 2006built, color Laser Blue and I'm interested in getting the mini challenge decals. Mainly the racing strips, and the side checked flag + number. However i'm making these locally at a sign shop, not purchasing them from the internet as I would still need someone to fix them for me as I've got no idea how to (and considering their size i'm sure it will go wrong)

My concern is, will these leave a mark if they will be removed in the future? You never know what trends or ideas might come up in the future.

Are there any 'type of stickers' to use, and others to avoid?
First and foremost safety of the spray
The guy in charge told me that there would be no problem, except for the hood part due to engine heat. This might leave a slight 'outline'

Btw I use my car only on the weekends and is kept garaged, so sunlight isnt much of an issue i guess

I would suggest you ask the experts here in link below, Graphics-R-Us.
They specialise in Mini Stickers/Decals, etc, and are Mini enthusiasts.
