Exhaust patching At its last MOT in November, my Mini One was noted as having some corrosion around the end of the exhaust, Kwik Fit also commented on it when they replaced the brake pads and said it wouldn't be an MOT issue or problem as-is, but was worth patching to avoid it getting worse. Here's a pic of the problem area.. ![]() I'm guessing that the various Holts exhaust bandages etc. could be used to patch this once it's been cleaned up with a wire brush? and in theory should be good enough to the next MOT rather than replace the exhaust. This would be my first proper bit of DIY on my Mini, so thought it would be a good plan to ask about first |
