R53 JCW - Engine Oil Choice - MINI Cooper Forum

Hey, looking to do a oil change for my 05 R53 JCW, but wonder what's the true best grade oil to use. I don't track, she is a daily driver, gets driven on but not always on it, and typically for a irish/UK climate what's best? My first taught is 5W-30. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

I used Castrol Edge 0-30 - On offer in halfords at the moment for about £37 for 4 litres. You will need just over 4.5 litres for an oil change.
