| Paint for back box Hi, The back box on my wife's (new to her) early cooper has some very light rusting on it that I find unsightly. Don't know if she has even noticed it as she is too busy enjoying driving it! I was wondering if I could paint it with some smooth silver Hammerite to try and hide the rust? It is only surface rust and not corrosion so a new box would be very extravagant. I'm just not sure how hot the box gets and if Hammerite is the best paint to use. Thanks for any assistance. Allan |

| I would think you need something like this for resistance to high temperatures: POR15 Factory Manifold Grey | Frost Auto Restoration Techniques Halfords may do something similar but cheaper. |
