Will these axle stands do the job? safely?

Hey guys,

Just wanted an opinion on these axle stands please.....

Halfords | Halfords 2 Tonne Axle Stands

Basically i gave my friend a loan of my ramps and they got stolen from his garage , i really don't want to fork out another £100+ as at the moment all i want to do is a basic oil change on my mini , just want to make sure these will safely do the job , oh and if someone could advise the best place to position these please

Thanks

sorry for the late reply, but my '04 MCS was on similar type for three weeks while I MODIFIED THE SUSPENSION AND EXHAUST. YOU SHOULD HAVE FOUR JACK PADS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE SILL, TWO BEHIND THE FRONT WHEEL AND two forward of the rear wheels. Ensure stability prior to working underneath by gently shaking car. Ensure all four stands are on level concrete and all four jack pads are equally carrying the load
