Central locking

Hi new here and just need to ask a quick question it may be obvious to you guys but here goes just picked a 2001 cooper up for the mrs and it only has one key no remote do ALL minis have remote locking if so any ideas on how I get a remote key for her.

Hi,

You normally get one remote key and a spare key with no remote, you say you just got it? Did you ask about the other key? Where did you buy the car?

It's not cheap to get a replacement key as it needs to get programmed at a main dealer

Thanks for that will go back to the garage do they all have remote central locking.

Yes all have remote central locking but factory fit alarm was optional.
