England Flushing radiator

What are your thoughts guys on flushing through with
Clean water by means a hose or similar by the expansion tank after draining the coolant before reattaching the bottom hose,is this ok to do to make sure no buildup there or not? heard other people do it on other makes!

Should be ok to flush.......make sure you carefully bleed all the air from the cooling system (search Mini2 for posts on how) when refilled afterwards and keep an eye on coolant level for a few days afterwards in case it drops due to any trapped air escaping.
