Replacing side lights

I am going to be replacing the side light bulbs on my 2007 cooper s within the next week as one of the bulbs has gone. My question is I am wanting to replace with LED's that match the xenon headlights, is it ok to put any LED's in or do they need resistors built in etc? Also any ideas on what kelvin rating the standard xenons are and have you got a link to an exact match?

Thanks

Nick

You need to sort that suit the system otherwise you will get error lights that a bulb has gone, you can get them to just fit and go, theres plenty of threads on here if you do a search regarding it.

Hi mate.

Did same as you. Spend good money on the replacements.

Mikey at new mini stuff does canbus leds that don't show errors and they match my xenons a treat.

Will set you back nearly fifteen quid inc postage but Mikey is trust worthy and they work unlike some of the eBay nasties.

Some people have got ok ones from eBay but I always get anything lighting or sound related from Mikey

Ry
