Hello all, I'm in the process of getting my motor ready to put back in our 2005 Cooper S and want to change the tensioner pulley and gas strut. I've already ordered an idler pulley, but want to replace just the pulley and strut on the tensioner assembly. Does anyone know where I can find these parts without replacing the whole thing?
Well, I figured it out. I just removed the seal on the bearing and packed in some new grease. i wasn't going to pay $120 for the whole tensioner when I only need to grease the bearing. Took me five minutes since the motor is already out of the car.
