Sea Foam

Tried Sea Foam in my 2007 MCS today and I have to say I am astonished at the results. I was getting pinking and rough idle problems but after reading how others have used this product I thought I'd give it a go. My car has only 30k miles on it but it must have been used as a shopping car before I got my hands on it

To anyone who is maybe thinking of giving it a go, just do it. Possibly the best £15 I have ever spent and much, much cheaper that a de-coke! Driving the car hard now and then also helps to clear out the engine I find, plus I only use BP Ultimate or Shell V Power, which is supposed to help too. None of that supermarket rubbish for my baby

Also had the high pressure fuel pump replaced recently under MINI's 'Good Will' policy as this was on the way out. Really happy with the way my MINI is running at the moment - long may it continue as they do seem to suffer from quite a few issues

How much did you put in?

How long did you leave it for?

Then when you went to turn the car back on did you leave it running or just go staright for a drive?

Sorry for the questions, just ordered mine

Did you drop it in the hose while running?
