United-Kingdom Window washer pipes

Hi,
Has anyone had any problems with the pipes disconnecting so water doesn't squirt on the windscreen?
I am forever pushing them back on and mini tell me that it's because I use the wrong screen wash

Push the pipes on and retain them tightly in places using small plastic zip ties and then cut off the surplus tail on the tie.
