United-Kingdom Jacking Inserts ?

Hi, I have been reading some old threads here about using a trolley (floor) jack, I did see that some members use a wooden insert that fits into the jacking point, this seems a good idea, I just wondered if an alloy or steel item along these lines has been comercially produced yet, or indeed if any other solutions had been thought of.
I am considering getting a friend to mill out a couple of circular alloy plates with a centre block that would locate in the jacking points. Any ides would be most welcome.
(2007 Cooper R56)

Cheers
Steve

I find the 'bowl'/'cup' on my trolley jack fits onto the R56 jacking points nicely without anything added.
