Oil Leak does Mini Warranty Cover you

Hi

Got to the bottom of why my Mini has been using a 1 ltr of oil every 2k . Noticed the other day a tiny spot of oil on the the floor . Looked under the car and saw what i would class an oily underneath . It wasnt dripping on the floor but I could see drips forming between the engine and the gearbox .
When the snows gone I will take a picture .
I bought my car from mini 8 months ago I mentioned to them a month after buying it that it was using oil . They told me to keep an eye on it .
Will I be covered under Mini Warranty ? It is booked in for Wednesday .
I was also wondering how much the seals cost to replace ?

8 months old? I would certainly think it would be covered!

yup should be covered. thats 99% likely to be your crank oil seal, not a cheap fix

The car is an 06 plate with 38,000 miles on it but bought from mini 8 Months ago .Since I bought the car from them that it had been loosing oil .It appears to have two leaks one from the sump and one from the crank . from what iv read it appears to be covered under the warranty . Love the car Thanks for the replies
