Genuine Mini wipers or third party for replacement?
Probably need a new set after 2.5 years.
Noticed that there is a new style "EVO" flat blade ones which are now available via genuine BMW/Mini sources which I think have replaced the old style ones. My local dealer said they are £23.70 a pair and £11 for the rear.
Do you all use genuine replacements or "cheaper" third party ones? I hear that the new Mini EVO ones are rebranded Bosch ones?
I assume an even cheaper option is to replace the rubbers only... not sure how easy to do that though.

The new 'bosch type' MINI OEM blades are brilliant. I bought some from our local stealer before the winter ..... No judder, streak free, no noise .... and they look good
Back in 11/2011 I spent the extra cash and bought a set of Bocsh wipers for my clubbie. What a waste of time and money. Both wipers were the same length (I think 18 inches) as opposed to the halfords ones in which one was just 17inches long for the drivers side. The main problem with the Bosch ones is that on the drivers side the wiper won't wipe on the downstroke for the last 4 inches on the edge near the center of the screen. They make a racket and now after just 15 months the wiper on the passenger side is not wiping properly. Utter utter rubbish!
If Rain-X fluid supposed to stop the need for using your wipers then I wonder why they decided to make wiper blades too?
To stop you needing the fluid?
Bought some of the new Aero style blades in the autumn which cost about £25 from mini dealer. Great upgrade. Much better that the cr4ppy standard ones.
'bosch type' MINI OEM rotor blades are amazing. I purchased some from our regional dealer before the winter season . . . . . I think those would really run great on my ride. . .
Love the PIAA Silicone blades. Refills are also available which are a good buy when it's
time for replacement. Also love Aquapel windshield treatment - much better than Rain-X.
