Starburst in Windshield...Repair or Replace?

What would you do? Tonight, a car tossed a stone into my windshiled and left a quarter sized starburst. My insurance will pay 100% for either procedure. I've always dreaded having windshields replaced lest I have a leaking one afterwards, or scratched hood, etc. My wife had a repair done a few years ago and it didn't have pure enough clarity to my liking. Don't suggest doing the repair first and then going for a replacement if it's not satisfactory, because no reputable company will replace a windshield that has been repaired and bill an insurance company. Which way would you go?

The windscreen company should give you a more professional opinion (i.e if it would dangerous to not replace it)

I had my windshield replaced due to damage from a large rock off a truck and so far (since early summer), knock on glass, rubber, plastic and aluminum, it seems to be fine with no leaks. It is a MINI replacement window, not a generic one.
