Smile I am looking at buying 2005 Mini Cooper

Hey, I am new here and I am going to be looking at a 2005 Mini cooper base model automatic tomorrow. It has 134k miles but was owned by a old couple who took car of it. They recently retired and its now for sale. It recently had the tie rods and brakes replaced. I was reading these are prone to cvt transmission failure and that kinda scares me. What should I be looking for when I test drive it tomorrow? And more common problems I should be aware of? Its in fantastic shape and I really want it. This would be my first mini cooper and I just don't know alot about them. Thanks in advanced

Good deal i think because car mileage is not too much so i think it drives by careful hands. As your write about its condition so its good to purchase. So done the deal quickly but also check it internally. If you no idea to check the engine so take a mechanic with you to check the car internally. You can also check its detail by vin checker.

Its a lot of miles, 134000, but if its all been by one careful owner and its been serviced properly when it supposed to have been, you might be lucky.
From what Ive seen here as long as you change the transmission oil regularly and dont leave it in for life they can last without trouble.
Again as always it depends on how the cars been used, and thats normally the biggest unknown factor with secondhand.
